As an Plumbing Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Plumbing.Your expertise will help maintain tenant satisfaction while protecting the investments of property owners.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, drains, water heaters, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
Diagnose plumbing issues and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements.
Respond promptly to plumbing-related emergencies and service requests from tenants or property managers.
Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues and prevent costly repairs.
Repair and replace pipes, faucets, water heaters, garbage disposals, and toilets, ensuring compliance with local codes and safety regulations.
Clear clogs in pipes and drains using appropriate tools and techniques.
Test plumbing systems for leaks, water pressure, and overall functionality.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including parts used and time spent on tasks.
Ensure that all plumbing installations and repairs are performed in compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Provide guidance and assistance to other maintenance personnel when necessary.
Keep up to date with plumbing techniques, tools, and technology to ensure high standards of service.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with tenants, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism.
Assist in the installation of appliances and fixtures as needed.
Keep tools, materials, and work areas clean and organized.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a plumber, with a solid understanding of plumbing systems and codes.
Ability to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in the use of plumbing tools and equipment, including pipe cutters, wrenches, drain cleaning tools, etc.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with tenants and property management teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to handle emergency plumbing issues and prioritize tasks under pressure.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
Pay: $35 per hour
