We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled individual to join our team as a Maintenance Laborer at Housing Hub in Saint Paul, MN. As a Maintenance Laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and repair of our properties to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Handle basic landscaping and outdoor maintenance, including mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and removing debris.

• Respond promptly to tenant requests for maintenance, repairs, and emergency situations.

• Assist in the turnover process for vacant units, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs to prepare for new tenants.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.

• Ensure compliance with all safety codes, regulations, and property management policies.

• Assist with snow removal, trash collection, and other seasonal duties.

• Help coordinate and communicate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and services.

• Ensure that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Supervisor.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation required
• Must be able to follow directions and learn quickly
• Must professionally represent Housing Hub at all times
• Must be proficient and comfortable with computer, tablet, smartphone tech
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
