Leasing Agent – Licensed Real Estate Agent (1099 Position)
Location: 351 Kellogg Blvd East, St. Paul, MN 55101
Job Type: Full-Time | Independent Contractor (1099)
Compensation: 100% Commission-Based | $50,000–$150,000+/year potential


Overview:
Housing Hub is hiring experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Leasing Agents to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for licensed real estate professionals who are eager to gain experience, grow their book of business, and work in a fast-paced, supportive environment. We are results-driven and reward hard work—your income is directly tied to your performance.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lease multiple residential properties across the Twin Cities metro area
  • Advertise available properties using various platforms
  • Process applications, conduct credit/background checks, and verify references
  • Prepare and execute lease agreements
  • Deliver excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants
  • Collaborate with the Housing Hub team and represent the brand professionally
  • Build your own book of business in addition to leasing activity

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active MN Real Estate Salesperson License in good standing (required)
  • 1+ year of leasing/property management or related experience
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities across multiple properties
  • Working knowledge of leasing practices and MN affordable housing laws
  • Enthusiastic, problem-solving mindset with a desire to help people find housing
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Compensation & Structure:

  • Commission-based (1099 Independent Contractor)
  • Earn 45–100% of the first month's rent depending on lead source
  • Bonus opportunities for upselling monthly management services
  • High earning potential: $50,000–$150,000+/year, based on effort
  • Flexible schedule – set your own hours

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Evenings & weekends as needed

Location:
Candidates must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to St. Paul, MN before starting.
