Digital Marketing Intern

Housing Hub is seeking a motivated Digital Marketing Intern to support ongoing digital marketing initiatives across social media, website content, and online platforms. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in real-world digital marketing systems.
This internship may qualify for college credit, depending on your school’s internship requirements. Housing Hub is happy to coordinate with academic advisors and provide documentation as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with organic social media posting (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
- Schedule & publish photo posts, video posts, reels, and stories following brand guidelines
- Support basic graphic design tasks using Canva
- Help repurpose photo and video content for digital platforms
- Assist with SEO website updates such as adding ALT text to images
- Support mailing and email list organization and light formatting
- Assist with online review tracking and internal marketing organization
- Provide occasional support for seasonal projects and internal initiatives
- Other marketing department tasks assigned
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a digital marketing program
- Comfortable with social media platforms
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc) and Canva
- Video editing skills a plus (Reels, Shorts, basic edits)
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and instructions
Details:
- Compensation: $15/hour, paid as a 1099 independent contractor
- Hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week
- Schedule: Flexible and can be coordinated around school commitments
- Work Location: In-office work required (with some flexibility as approved)
- Duration: Internship position (length determined based on availability and performance)
- This role is classified as a contract internship and does not include employee benefits.
